6. Analyzing Color Picker

Before, we are using a reference image to generate a color picker. The result is not bad, but the problem is we are relying too much on the reference image.


There could be one option for the user to pick the theme from the reference image, or some people might want to pick a color to become the theme of their pictures. However, we do not have a way to generate the color picker yet.


Before the generation, we would usually want to analysis the existing one first. Below, we would like to see the pixel index in the picture from the top to the bottom and see if we can get any insight from those analysis.


(These are not image histogram, it is simply just ordered by the vertical coordinate.)























We might not be able to see a clear picture from all these reference, but one thing that we can be sure is the beginning of the start should be close to 0 and the end should be close to 255. In between that, it looks either like sigmoid, expo or just linear function. However, the problem is we can't be sure about that.
